In this MATLAB project, I designed a bell-shaped rocket nozzle optimized for a target thrust of 10,000 N at a design altitude of 10,000 meters, using Rao’s method to minimize flow separation and maximize efficiency.
This is MATLAB code of Rao algorithms with k- nearest neighbor comparison method (k-NNC). For detailed description of the method, please refer to: Pham, H. A., Dang, V. H., Vu, T. C., & Nguyen, B. D. (2024).
Main parameters required for plotting Rao Nozzle (thrust optimized) contours are section ratio (Exit Area/Throat Area) value and throat radius. Calculation requires couple of angles which are inferred from wall-angle ...

The MATLAB codes of Rao Algorithms and Self-Adaptive Multi-Population (SAMP)-Rao algorithms for the unconstrained and constrained benchmark functions can be downloaded from the following...
In our simulation studies, we have developed a new version of the Rao algorithm called the Fully Informed Search Algorithm (FISA), which demonstrates acceptable performance in optimizing real-world problems while main...
Dependent nonparametric models, MCMC methods and deterministic approximations for efficient inference in nonparametric models Continuous time stochastic processes:
QOJAYA enhances the standard Jaya algorithm by incorporating quasi-oppositional learning to improve convergence speed and solution quality. It generates and evaluates quasi-opposite solutions alongside the standard Ja...
This interactive platform allows you to explore and visualize various optimization algorithms developed by Prof. R.V. Rao. These algorithms are designed to solve both constrained and unconstrained optimization problem...
